Q: How do I subscribe to Duke Funding Alert Newsletter?

A: Each week, subscribers to the Funding Alert email list receive an email that the newest issue of Duke Funding Alert is available online. The message includes a hyperlink to access the new issue.

Duke Funding Alert subscription is only available to Duke University and Duke University Medical Center faculty, postdoctoral fellows, students and staff. Subscription requests from non-Duke personnel are not accepted.

Q: How can I access the Foundation Directory Online service?

A: Foundation Center's Foundation Directory Online is the most comprehensive search tool available for locating the funding interests of foundations on local, regional, national, and international levels, as well as past foundation grants and grantees. The Foundation Center publishes the free electronic newsletter, Foundation Center's RFP Bulletin.

Q: How do I submit a Duke-related application to the Mary Duke Biddle Foundation?

The Mary Duke Biddle Foundation now requires submission of all Duke-related applications through the Duke University Office of Foundation Relations.

Q: How can I tell if a funding opportunity is institutionally limited?

A: By reading the Funding Opportunity Announcement FOA carefully.  There is usually a section on "eligibility" and any submission restrictions will be noted in this section. If you do not see the funding opportunity listed on the Research Funding website listing Institutionally Limited Funding Opportunities, please email fundopps@duke.edu
